DRAMA TEACHER
London Gates is an international education project in English for children from 5 to 17 years old. We really appreciate our team and are proud of it, and now we are looking for Drama teachers for our branch in Riga.
Drama is one of our students' favourite subjects. It combines acting, active games, singing and dancing! In our lessons pre-schoolers learn the basic principles of games and try on different roles in stories created by the teacher. Older children learn basic acting and self-presentation skills, try roles, learn to be part of society and explore different types and forms of theatre. At the end of the year, teachers together with the children prepare the Final Show which always brings participants and spectators a lot of joy and pleasure!
We are looking for an energetic and open person with experience in the theatre industry and the ability to communicate with children. Teaching skills are encouraged but not required: we train new teachers and help them develop the necessary classroom skills.
Our candidate:
This is a part-time position which can easily be combined with another job or studies. Lessons are held on Saturdays, we start with 2-4 lessons. The payment rate is 16-21 euros per 45-minute lesson.

- is studying for (or already is) a director or actor of cinema, theatre or musical, etc.
- is able and wants to interact with children, conduct lessons, games and activities
- speaks excellent English (minimum level - Upper-Intermediate/Advanced)
- is charismatic, artistic, creative and has a sense of humour
